Chapter Three

Chapter three introduces both main characters (Keating and Roark) to New York City and there new places of employment. Keating’s goes to Francon & Heyer to find that Francon is more of a face man and all the real work is done by his subordinates. There is though an importance that Francon puts in skillfully appearing the best to the masses that I think Keating finds comforting and able to perform that same skill himself.

Roark goes to Henry Cameron and from the worlds perspective finds him down and out but Roark seems to know that he is so much more genius than he is given credit for. There Architecture styles are very similar and there deep honesty is offensive.

In the case of both Keating and Roark, they have found places to work that are very similar to there own personalities but both men are far brighter than their highest employer.
